Advantages: Impressive fryer.

Disadvantages: Chips make you fat!

I needed a deep fat fryer.
I shopped around and the choice was mind blowing. Did I want to pay for one that dismantled, was a rotating fryer an expensive gimmic.

After reading the reviews I bought the Delonghi rotofryer.
It has an angled base which rotates, so you only actually need just over a litre of oil to cook.

It has 2 filters in the lid which are very simple to replace.

The lid comes off for cleaning.

The other main difference is that you can drain off the oil through an integral drainage tube into a filtered container which is provided.

To clean the fryer you simply put hot water and washing up liquid into it and let it drain out into the sink.

The basket lifts up with the lid closed, and the whole design is attracive and neat.

Some models have a timer, and some have a window. I,ve had a fryer with a window before, and didnt really rate it.

The price in Argos is £69.
But if you,ve got a Costco near you it is only £37 + vat. A great saving!

The only other thing I forgot to mention is that the chips are great.
