Advantages: Grill channels to carry run off grease and fat, Roll and bun warmer, Fast & easy to use.
Disadvantages: None
The George Foreman Junior Health Grill is a brilliant invention. Its very useful and in my opinion much better than actually grilling as this gets rid of almost all the fat content in your food. I purchased this a few years ago and its still working fine.
The design of the grill is very simple and convenient. It opens up when you lift the top half and has enough room to cook two good sizes quarter pounder burgers or about four regular burgers leaving some room in two of the corners. It also has a coloured clear lid on top which is for warming your buns and conveniently will hold two bun halves. The colours vary I have a green lid colour I think you can get it in 3 different colours.
Operating the grill is easy; just plug it in and switch it on. It has a heat indicator light which switches off when it is ready to use. This basically tells you the grill is hot enough for you to cook on. When you use the grill for lets say sausages or burgers, you will be amazed to see how much fat is collected in the drip tray you place at the bottom end of the grill. That fat would have gone straight into your body and neatly stored under your skin! Now if that doesn't make you want one I don't know what will.
It's so easy and convenient to use you can grill almost anything on it. I grill my sausages and burgers on this always. I even use it to reheat food such as pizza. You can also make your own recipes and try different things to grill.
Main functions:
- Embedded heating elements grills food fast
- Unique patented contact design grills food evenly
- Non stick coated cooking plates
- Grill channels to carry run off grease and fat
- Roll and bun warmer
- 750W
- Thermostat controlled ready light indicator
- Floating hinge for even cooking

- 2 Specially designed spatulas which fit perfectly into the grooves of the grill plate
- Extender feet to raise the grill for easier filling of foods such as pitta bread or taco shells
Cleaning the grill is simple as it has a non-stick coating so you simply wipe it down with a damp cloth or kitchen paper.
Overall the George Foreman Junior Health Grill is a very useful and healthy way to grill your food. It will definitely surprise you to see how much fat the grill will squeeze out into the drip tray. I purchased the grill a few years ago from Woolworths and got it for around £19.99 on offer.
Summary: Excellent Grill
