This op is going to be all about my journey and how I have grown with George, since its my only baby, i have watched it grow up to been a junior and now hes become a daddy... Whos the Daddy? Your are of course, George Foreman...
Who the heck is George Foreman?

George Foreman was matched to fight Mohamed Ali in the 70s. Do you remember Alis famous saying Rumble in the Jungle in Zahir, well this fight was between the, Mohammed Ali came back to win. George Foreman is a heavyweight Fighter who came the World Champion. Now until George starting his kitchen appliance slaughter on the world, i must admit i am too young to remember him. I had seen him on shopping channels like QvC and other shopping channels. Then they became readily available in the shops and now are one of the best selling kitchen gadgets in the U.K.
When you watch the gadgets they have on shopping channels how many of you think yeah i bet it doesn't really work? you know you would love to try it but what happens if its one of those things, you buy, you try and then it gathers dust for god knows how long.
This opinion is going to be on the Junior Grilling Machine as my baby one outlived its use and has been passed onto a family friend... Now if i am right father Christmas has bought me the Daddy George, the big one.. Just will have to be a good girlie till Christmas day... oh well maybe not.
The Packaging

The packaging is quite simple and states its the Junior George Foreman Lean Mean Grilling Machine. The box is predominantly white and has a picture of George Foreman on it together with the picture of the product you are buying. Now with the baby George you can have the bun warmer on top or just the grilling machine. The Junior has a bun warmer on top. They come in several colours, so far, i have seen pink, purple, green, blue and a silver bun warmer cover.

nior oh hes so sweet, he has a bun warmer on that was like a greeny colour. However this is my second George foreman and the second time hubby has broken the lids in about 5 seconds.
You lift the bun warmer lid and you can see a grey slab which heats up to warm your buns for the burgers. I must admit, i don't use this feature on my grilling machine but it is very handy and all my friends use theirs.
just below the lid is a light, When you plug this in the light illuminates, this tells you the product is on and it takes approximately 5 mins to warm up. When the grill is ready to be used the light goes out.
The grilling machine is actually on a slant, this is so the fat runs off the meat/veg/fish or what other foods you were cooking at the time.
They have adjustable feet which are rubber and you can alter these accordingly to the foods your eating. They are situated in the feet underneath the product. George Junior is approximately 8 inches by 12 inches in total circumference. There are caution stickers on the bun warmer telling you to be careful as it will heat up rather quickly.
You get entrance to the grill by lifting the handles up at the front of the product. When you lift it, it reveals a grill in black. This becomes very hot, very quickly so be careful. It looks rather like a breville toaster, i first thought but without the compartments. Inside on the top and bottom of the Grill there are grids that run from the top of the machine running down to the bottom and this is the same on both sides.
The fat grease trays are made of grey plastic and to be honest are quite flimsy but they do the job. There is also two spatulas with the junior as there is the drip trays. The drip trays are placed under the grill so that when the fat rolls off the machines it drips into the tray. spatulas are a hard wearing plastic material so it wont damage the teflon type material of the grill.
What can I cook on it? <

A small cook book and guide comes with the grill and this tells you what you can cook in the product. You can do pork chops, chicken breast, fish, veg, fruit if you liked grilled apples. In fact most meats can be cooked in it, but sometimes there are meats which need a bit of fat in them and i tend to use a spray oil in these cases just to add a bit of taste. Beefburgers are ideally cooked in these and they work a treat. Other meats like sausages also cook well on this.
Tips for using Junior

They have what they call a floating hinge, this is so you can get different sizes of meat and veg in it.
You don't have to press the food hard for it to be cooked.
When cleaning, use a damp cloth and oil it a bit rather like a wok to keep it a well used product.

Baby George - Useful for single people, i have seen these as low as £15 in the shops. With or without bun warmer.
Junior George - I paid £40 for mine from boots last year but again the prices are coming down. Very hand if theres two of you. With a bun warmer.
Big Classic George - This is £60 in my catalogue and to be fair i have not seen it any lower anywhere else. This is useful for a family as it fits on 6 burgers or chicken breasts. This is my new George and is currently on order. Its silver in colour and has no bun warmer. There is only two of us but we use it a lot for cooking meat and veg at the same time or our breakfasts, as we have no kitchen at the moment.
BBQ George, now the prices start to vary on this as i have seen these from £70 plus as they do a few BBQs in this range.
Toaster, this is a new product that has just been launched and is silver and black in colour. I don't know the price of this.
Big George Roaster, this is also on my Christmas list, in fact i know I'm getting it as
Santa popped in early the other day to deliver it, this cost us £30 approximately and it cooks chicken and casseroles.

This is an ideal Christmas present for anyone. As i have said we have no kitchen and these George foreman products will see us through Christmas. There are different size depending on who your buying it for. This product is very popular and the product range is growing and growing as were all getting into healthy eating.
My advice on this product is to shop around as there seem to be a lot of offers and bargains on these products.
Next year i hope to get one of his BBqs but first i need new windows, kitchen, garden lol....
