Hinari Lifestyle Kettle

I've had this kettle for a good few months now, it's one of those cordless jobs, you know the ones I mean, the cord is actually attached to the base unit which the kettle sits in and can be lifted out for easy filling from the tap.

The cord on the base unit itself is only 60cm long but I think that's a good thing as it's less likely to get tangled with other gadgets and sits nice and close to the wall, also making it less likely for inquisitive little ones(if you have any)or mad mohican giraffes to be able to get hold of it I would say.

The kettle itself is white, with a few touches of green, which are located on, the on/off switch, two on the fill level indicator, one on the power on/off indicator (which changes to orange when switched on) and the word 'Lifestyle' is also written in the same green on the side of the kettle. So a few fairly subtle touches of colour to tie in with your kitchen colour scheme, but just as well as this green is fairly bright and limey. It also comes in yellow or blue if you prefer, but really the colours aren't that noticeable unless you really stare at it.

It's a two-litre capacity kettle with a hinged lid complete with a little water filter attached to cover the spout, but you can unclip this if you want to. When full of cold water it takes 5 ½ minutes to boil, when half-full it takes only 3 ½ minutes and when filled to its minimum level; which is ½ litre, it takes just about a minute to come to the boil. It's fairly quiet and when your water is ready it switches off with quite a gentle little click.

I bought this kettle from Woolworth's when they were selling household things online at a bargain price of £4.99.On the box it had two other price tags of £9.99 and £13.99 so I reckon I've had a good bargain with this one. I dare say you can probably buy it in store and Woolworth's always seem to ha
ve a sale on thesedays. But anyway it's a good little kettle that I would have still been pleased with had I paid the full price.

Not a bad price! I paid £30 for a fancy Bodum kettle because I was fed up of replacing my kettle every year!
