... The fun and festivities of Christmas day passed and Boxing Day came. My boyfriend and I settled down to watch some new DVDs and this time had the popcorn to go with them. To use the machine, you first need to measure (or just pour in my case) your popcorn kernels into the measuring spoon type thing, which sits in the top of the lid. Pour it into the main body of the machine, make sure the lid and measuring spoon are securely back in place* and switch it on. *This part is very important as I found out when my...more

The Hinari Popcorn Maker, Model PC334 If you want to eat hot popcorn whilst watching your home movie, then this popcorn maker is just the trick. What's more popcorn is a delicious cholesterol free, low-calorie snack. I purchased this Popcorn Maker from Index priced £14.50, with a 12 month gurantee. This unit stands just under 30cm's and is about 20cm's in diameter. The unit comes in 3 parts. The motor unit, lid and measuring cup. The lid clips on to the top of the motor unit. The measuring cup is inserted in to the top of the lid. The main unit is white and the lid and measuring cup is a brown colour but see through. ...

I love popcorn but it was starting to get a bit expensive and whenever i made it in a saucepan i would have to endure endless scrubbing at the end. Worrying about my health (and bank balance!) i decided to purchase a popcorn maker from Argos for £14.50. WOw, a bargain i thought and expected it not to be any good but this product is alright actually! Buying a bag of popcorn seeds from the shop for £1.49 (this will vary of course) i rushed home excitedly and plugged the thing in. There really wasn't that much to read in the instructions as operation was pretty straight forward. The lid contained a special cup which when filled was the perfect measure of ...
