Advantages: they make yummy sangers!

Disadvantages: The stickyness is just not fun.

Why is it that whenever I make a toastie, no matter how much I butter the plates and toast, it still sticks and ends up having to be scrapped onto my plate in an unceremonious mess.
Toasties are of course the staple diet of students and I have to say they are lovely (my favorite being cheese and marmite it is gooooood). Experimenting with different combo's is very rewarding and can even be quite exciting when you discover a new flavour. However I am yet to find a toastie maker which hasn't stuck to my bread and thus instead of creating a perfect crispy triangle I have been left with a squidgy mess and lots of grime to clean off my toastie maker. In fact this trate of the toastie maker has caused me to shun one of the greatest lunch making tools, which is much to my chagrin. But I find that shoving toast and cheese under the grill is not so messy.
