Power pack useless (Kenwood Deep Fryer)

Advantages: easy clean, easy use

Disadvantages: lousy power pack

I love my easy clean deep fryer, but what is the point in producing a great product with such lousy parts. I purchased the Kenwood deep fryer DF650 less than 2 years ago. The first power pack just packed up in 12 months. the second one packed up after 10 months. what now do I have to buy a third one for that to pack up within the next year. Why cant Kenwood find a reputable manufacturer for its power packs, instead of using cheap chinese made.
