Advantages: Looks good and works well with big quantities

Disadvantages: A bit big for everyday baking

This mixer is a really stylish retro design which comes with a large capacity bowl and 3 attachments - a dough hook, beater and whisk. My mum wanted to buy me it as a gift and initially I was horrified at the price and would have preferred the money, but then I decided that I would like it as one day it'll go perfectly in my dream kitchen. This was a few years ago and I don't have my dream kitchen yet, but I do have a very nice one that has been styled and accessorised around the mixer (I have the red one).

To be honest I don't actually use the mixer that often, I have a small hand whisk that I generally use for baking as its easier to get out and clean but the mixer is invaluable when doing large quantities of icing, or big cakes, and it does look great so I don't regret getting it!

Summary: If you want something thats functional and looks great and have the money go for it.
