I am a big fan of Lakeland products, I am lucky that we have a Lakeland store not far from us, about 20 minutes away so even though I get the regular magazines I do like to have a browse in the store. The last time I was in the store I was with my mum and we were joking how I could do with an egg timer as it's a running joke that I can't boil an egg. As luck would have it we spotted the Lakeland Egg Boiler. When my mum saw that it was a reasonable price, she offered to buy it for me and so I went home with a device that would hopefully stop all of the banter about that I can't boil an egg! I really love Lakeland products and am always perusing their catalogue to see what new and interesting things that they have. I bought the egg boiler after seeing it in the catalogue and as usual believing the blurb that makes their products sound like they are the thing that I am missing from my life to make it so much easier. To be fair though the egg boiler is a great product and one that I do use often. My mother-in-law had one of these at her home, and I admired it so much she bought me one. Result! It's a contraption to boil eggs: a funky looking beast, which appeals to my 'shiny thing!' proclivities. It's brushed stainless steel with sturdy black plastic. It takes up about as much room as a kettle on the kitchen sideboard and has a similar length of cable to plug into a socket. It's under a tenner from Lakeland, and I feel it looks more expensive than that.
