Instead of having to unplug the kettle (which is dangerous to leave live plugs bare) and move it, you can just lift the kettle of its base, with little hassle. It's second good feature is its water filter. I bought this kettle for my mother for Christmas. It has a 1.5 Litre capacity (about 6-8 cups) and is avaiable in a variety of colours. I bought the navy blue version as my mother is collecting the Morphy Richards range in this colour. The kettle has a few excellent features, although not unique to this kettle or brand, but arre useful all the same. The best obvious feature is that it is cordless.
