Morphy Richards 48719 Slow Cooker

Last winter, I was determined to cook more meals from scratch, and to do that as well as working, we decided to get a slow cooker. I wasn't sure what to get but I did know that it had to be big enough to feed the whole family, as well as looking the part in my kitchen. The Morphy Richards fit my requirements, as well as being oval shaped which is good for fitting joints of meat into should I ever want to, and it did look quite modern and sleek in my cream and green kitchen. As a shift worker I was looking at ways I could have meals that I didn't have to wait an age to cook when I got home from work, but were still healthy. After reading about slow cookers they seemed to fit the bill perfectly. I would be able to prepare a meal quickly before I went to work, let it cook whilst I was out and then serve up when I got home. I bought this slow cooker a couple of months ago and have found it to be an excellent buy. As I work late and spend time a the gym its a perfect way to eat good food and not have to do too much cooking. All of the food I have cooked has been cheap (you can put in the cheapest cuts of meat and they come out tender). Its a great way to cook where you just chuck everything in the pot and leave it running whilst out for the day and return to a great dinner. The only downside is that the majority of meals are based on American measurements but apart from that a good device. I have only recently purchased this slow coker but so far i am happy with it. It is extremely easy to use and the instruction book is useful as it contains a selection of recipies. It doesn't take up a lot of room and is one of the nicer looking slow cookers that we looked at. The crock pot is of a very good quality and easy to clean soit takes a lot of the hassle out of preparing meals. The sides do get very hot when it is on which may be a concern for some but we happily leave it on while we are out during the day.
