Morphy Richards 48719 Slow Cooker ... bought this slow cooker a couple of months ago and have found it to be an excellent buy. As I work late and spend time a the gym its a perfect way to eat good food and not have to do too much cooking. All of the food I have cooked has been cheap (you can put in the cheapest cuts of meat and they come out tender). Its a great way to cook where you just chuck everything in the pot and leave it running whilst out for the day and return to a great dinner. The only downside is that the majority of meals are based on American measurements but apart from that a good device. Morphy Richards 48715 Slow Cooker ... best for batch cooking, roasts, whole chickens etc. I have been known to have both slow cookers on the go at the same time! You can use much cheaper cuts of meat and they just melt in your mouth after being cooked in the slow cooker. Often on a Saturday night I will cook a roast over night. I put it on high for the first few hours before I go to bed and then turn it to Med until morning. The Morphy Richards model has three settings High, Med & Low. The low is effectively a keep warm feature. The ceramic dish washes fine in the dishwasher. Although there are some glaze surface cracks in mine now. But plenty of life still in it. NOTE: Unfortunately this unit does not have a timer setting. IN CONCLUSION... As I said I have used slow cookers for some time now and find that the finished results have a taste of there own, the food being succulent, almost melting in the mouth, so when I came across the Morphy Richards crockpot on offer I jumped at the chance to buy it as my Tesco special had had its day.
