Advantages: Very very useful!

Disadvantages: Nothing

I have a Moulinex hand blender and it is one of my favourite ever small kitchen appliances. I use it for everything, from soups to pasta sauces and more recently for making smoothies and milkshakes.

The blender is a long cylindrical shape which is very ergonomic to use and creates no problem with the blending you are trying to achieve as it lies so comfortably and correctly in your hands.

The handle part is soft grip which makes it even softer and less slippery to hold when you are blitzing something.

The blending part detaches from the main handle part which makes it easier to clean without worrying about the electric part going into the water. This is a very easy process, a simple twist on, twist off system applies.

I have had this blender for years now and have never experienced a single problem with it. Moulinex are certainly a name I would trust again in the kitchen and indeed I do have other small appliances by them, again all of very good quality.

I paid about £15 for this one years ago but I believe Homebase have them for half price at the moment if I remember correctly. I think one of these would make a good present for someone who likes to cook and at a good price.

Summary: RECOMMENDED xx

Good compact review here . My neighbour has a 'Mouli and its a lot quieter to use than my Morphy Richards one.
