I have now had to send a second one back and I am hoping that the next one will last me for years. I had my last blender ten years and replaced as I had a new baby and it was rather dated looking. If anything goes wrong with the next blender I get I think I will be giving up with Moulinex and trying something else. I have recently bought a hand blender I only had it about 4 weeks. I mainly use my blender for blending baby food, but one fine day I decided to whisk up some egg whites with it only to find it got so hot I couldn't even hold it. I returned my blender to get a replacement, my replacement came and it actually blew up after only a week, the sparks where flying every where. I have now had to send a second one back and I am hoping that the next one will last me for years. I had my last blender ten years and replaced as I had a new baby and it was rather dated looking.
