The unit itself was clipped to the back of the unit with two screws, and took up hardly any room. The most awkward part was drilling a hole through the sink to fit the tap. Drilling a stainless steel sink is not that easy, but if you use a small drill bit, and gradually increase the size until you reach that required, it is a much simple job than trying to go straight through. We installed an IX600 about a year ago, after moving house and finding our tap water tasted awful (we live in Lincolnshire). The system was supplied by the manufacturer Pozzani, who happen to be based to our town - I originally heard of them through my work as an IT consultant. The system is a plumbed in water filter, which basically means it is permanently connected to your water supply beneath the kitchen sink. A small additional tap supplies filtered water on demand. Given the need to fit an extra tap, and connect the filter to the plumbing I thought the installation may be complex, although I was assured it would be very simple. ...
