Advantages: It was alright when finally made

Disadvantages: It would not work, lid knocked off, instructions hard to understand, hard to store.

A couple of years ago I got this as a birthday present. I was very excited and hoped to get fresh popcorn. Unfortunately not only were the instructions for use hard to understand, it did not work properly and any popcorn that popped actually knocked the lid of. It is also very hard to store and it was hard to find space for it, there were a lot of components. When we did make the popcorn finally it was delicious but frankly not worth it for the amount of effort we had to put in. Instead I recommend not buying a popcorn maker and just making it on the stove, its easier, faster and you are more in control plus its cheaper. Just buy popcorn kernals from your local store, heat oil or butter in a pan add popcorn heat. When it starts to pop turn off heat and hold a lid on top, allow to pop. So don't buy a maker, make it yourself.

Summary: Not worth the effort

Welcome to Dooyoo. A fair start here but it would be good to research the model, put the price in, add in info concerning cleaning the machine, noise levels and whether you put oil into this machine.

If you update your review please message me.
