Advantages: easy to keep clean

Disadvantages: none

I bought this sandwich toaster a few months ago to use in my café, actually it was half price for 12.99 so I thought why not give it a go seeing as I was getting a bargain.

It looks very impressive a nice stainless steel casing and the non stick hot plates are easy to wipe clean.

I read all the instructions first as you do! Then set about to make a cheese and pickle toasty I didn?t want to get too complicated being a novice with this wonder machine.

I waited until the little orange light went out telling me that it was now at the correct temperature and placed my two slices of bread with the cheese and pickle in closed the lid down adjusting the cover plate with the screw so that it just rested gently on the bread.
If you press it down too hard you end up with filling all over the plate and a toasty resembling a pancake.

Two minutes later the bread was golden brown and the cheese nicely melted inside?..I was quite impressed.

Bagels are great for this wonder machine and to toast bloomer rolls for hot bacon buns, I can charge twenty pence more for a bun if it is toasted that in itself is a good point for me.

I recommend this sandwich toaster it has certainly made my life easier I tend to use it for toasting bread if I get a rush on and the normal toaster is being used it can hold three slices at a time.

Fried bread can be done on it if you put the buttered side down on the hot plate, but you must always wipe it clean straight away otherwise the fat starts to burn if it is left, and of course you have to really be careful that you don?t burn yourself because the plate gets very hot.

It is very easy to keep clean, 24.99 the normal price is value for money, so if you do see it for less you really will be getting a bargain so grab it quick!

This sounds like a good one, we're without a toastie maker at the moment (how I miss my cheese & BBQ sauce toasties...) so I might have a look at this one.
