This must be one of the most used kitchen gadgets in our house. Have the usual multi chef things, but such a faff to clean. I splashed out on the Russell Hobbs ( I think about £25) well I liked the look of it. It is robust, maybe a little heavier than others but beautifully balanced so it is very comfortable to use. Finished in chrome, so no yellowing with age unlike the plastic finish ones, in fact it looks quite trendy. It has 2 beaters and 2 dough hooks, 5 speed with a turbo boost,and a push button release. Runs very smoothly with no juddering. Very easy to keep clean.
So watch out Delia, even I can now make perfect mashed potatoes, not a lump in site.
So at long last I have chucked my old hand whisk away.
