These really are superb, useful scales. As someone who is trying to control his diet (you know how it is, we all boil too much rice or pasta!!), I needed a way of weighing food with minimal fuss. I just put the pan on the scales before cooking and weigh the pasta without having to adjust the scales to compensate for the weight of the pan. The unit is slim so tucks away nice and easily. Mine tends to live on the worktop as it gets used frequently these days. It also weighs liquid in millilitres - very handy because you don't have to keep rummaging in the cupboard for a measuring jug. Plus, being digital, you can get far more accurate readings than with conventional scales. What is all the more remarkable is the price - I think I paid about £12 for these - an absolute bargain. I wholeheartedly recommend these scales.
