Advantages: yeah, a good idea

Disadvantages: refills now nearly impossible to get

This product has introduced me to dooyoo as it came up on a search to find refills for my soda stream. Keener to read reviews rather than write them! but I feel I must just add that it is now almost impossible to get the gas canister for any soda stream appliance refilled! I used to get mine at Tescos, Wilkinsons or my local independant ironmongers but none of them now swap an empty gas for a full one as they used to. I had a help line number for sodastream (I`m sorry but I discarded this!) and they gave me ONE supplier for the whole county of Leicestershire and its about 30 miles away! She did try to sell me a new model that I could purchase all sorts of gismos for online but I just want to be able to use the perfectly good syphon that I have! If anyone has a different experience then I would be grateful to hear but I just felt that this was worth a mention if anyone else is thinking of purchasing a sodastream to check if refills are available too!

Summary: Sodastreams are great in theory, but refills are nearly impossible to get!
