When my brother came to visit he complained his kettle no longer switched itself off and his kitchen was full of steam this was mainly due to the fact he usually falls asleep waiting for it to boil. So off we went to the nearest Currys for a replacement. We were spoiled for the choice rows and rows of different kettles all sizes and prices it was hard to decide which would be best. After due deliberation we decided the Tefal Delfina Cordless Jug Kettle was the one and he duly parted with £17.99. The kettle he chose was bright yellow to fit in with the green and yellow decor of his kitchen; the other colours available in store were dark green and ... Read the complete review

I needed a new kettle and decided on this model for many reasons. It is a cordless kettle (I find these much safer to use). It has a good minimum (0.4ltr) and maximum (1.6ltr) capacity. It has a filter near the spout, this stops those annoying bits getting into the cup when you use all the water. It means I am more confident at using it for a minimum amount of water than I would else be (good for saving a penny or two on the electric bill). I like the green colour, I have become bored with white kettles and other household apliances in white. It was a bit more expensive than some other makes and models, I chose this above those for the above reasons ... Read the complete review

Besides little soldiers and Action Man, my under-stair storage cupboard is like a Tefal graveyard. We used to average five Tefal kettles per year on one guarantee! Each replacement comes with a new one year guarantee, but in practical terms they lasted us between 'the first use out of the box' and 12 weeks normal use. Corded or cordless, they are not particular. At the age of 11, asking my ADHD son to make a cup of tea was like a death sentence to a Tefal kettle. For months he kept getting the blame when yet another kettle ceased to boil, until we realised - Tefal kettles aren't made for real families ! The one kettle that ... Read the complete review

The first thing I noticed about this product was the shape. Trendyyyyyy... Smoothly curved and similar to the Swan "Dolphin" only classier. This is a cordless jug and the capacity like most of this kind is 1.5 litres. This is a well-thoughtout design. The cord can be placed in such a way that the jug can be used by both left or right-handed people. Also, there is a see-through fill-level panel on each side for left or right-handed people. The shape of the kettle and spout actually makes it easier to pour the water out. It also boils quickly... The Delfina is available in two colours - green with lighter green trim, and white with light ... Read the complete review

I have had this navy blue kettle for three years and it is excellent. It looks brilliant and is cordless. It is easy to clean and the filter has kept the lime scale away. (It gets used several times every day and today after three years it has been cleaned of lime scale with a special cleaner for the first time). The kettle is quick and I like the way you can see the water trough the windows. It is also very easy to measure the right amount of water this way. Although not cheap I think it is a very good quality product and I do not find it particularly noisy either. Being very critical, the only thing that could have improved the design would be a little light ... Read the complete review
