However, after only 3 months of use it blew up with a bang and flash - very dramatic - and stopped working with the fuse still intact. It is irreparable as you cannot open the bottom with any screwdriver we have.
Since it cost about £30 and it has been used almost every day it has cost me about 15p per slice, excluding electricity which seems high.

Very smart toaster with crisp design and modern lines. The controls on the front are easy-to-read and access. The black and stainless matches most new kitchens.
