Premium Review Tefal Perfect Teamaker: Tefal Super Tea Maker lives! (Sept 2008) but as a Magic Tea ... (313 words)

The Tefal Super Teamaker is, as has been said by two others a splendid piece of kit. Sadly it is not without its weaknesses but parts are often available in UK via Currys partmaster service. However there are terminal weaknesses which make replacement the only route. For some reason Tefal no longer sell it in UK but, in a slightly different guise, it is still available (Sept 2008) elsewhere. I would suggest that if you want one you should search for TEFAL Teekocher Magic Tea in Germany or for Magic Tea Theière électrique TEFAL in France, or on websites in those countries and you will find the same piece of kit but with a ...  Read the complete review

Express Review on Tefal Perfect Teamaker

My father is a 86 year old tea addict. For many years he has used his tefal prefect teamaker which gave him a prefect cup of tea every time. Over the years my father has 'patched' up the bit needed to keep his teamaker in service.... but is is now on its last legs and we cannot find any-one who stocks this model. We have been told that it is no longer made which we find unbelieveable as it is such a simple efficient way of making prefect tea, the last cup from the pot tasting the same as the first.
If any-one out there can tell us where we can but a unit you would make an old man very very happy.

I've had a Tefal Perfect Tea Maker for many years now, in fact I can hardly remember what tea making was like before I got it! I love this machine, it's integrated into my daily life - the first thing I do when I get up each morning is to press it's little button and watch it's little light come on, then I know that a perfect cuppa is only minutes away. The last thing I do before going to bed is put the teabag and water into it - the tea is held above the water level so never gets stewed. Mine has given me excellent service, I bought it when they first came out and it must have served me thousands of cups. The first time I gave one of my ...  Read the complete review
