The Tefal Visialis Deep Fat Fryer is a good looking peice of kitchenware. Its striking white and orange colouring is fresh and clean looking. The name "Visialis" comes from the fact that there is a clear glass panel set in the lid through which you can see the food frying. You can, though, as this window immediately steams up once the food is immersed in the fat. It was a very good temperature guide, and a red light shows until the fat reaches the required heat. This model has a lift out bowl, for ease of emptying and cleaning, and a very easily removable filter. I haven't as yet been able to work out a way to remove the lid ... Read the complete review
