I fill the holes in almost to the top but not quite as I don't like it to spill over the top of the machine and make the donut look all funny. Then you close the lid and wait abo...more

Unfortunately this kitchen item has found the way into the back of our cupboard, probably to not see the light of day for quite a while. That's not to say that it is not a good product but I just don't need another cooking item cluttering up my kitchen. This was a gift from my brother and sister in law for Christmas, a great thoughtful gift as I love donuts but not something I would use everyday, every month or even every six months. Being half American I love donuts, I can eat them for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, pretty much all the time so this is a fun machine if you wish to use it. The machine is very easy to use. Its fairly small which is nice so it ...  Read the complete review

I'm going to tell you about one of my Christmas presents. Well, it was actually a Christmas present to myself at the beginning of December so I could suss out how to use it and dazzle my guests on Christmas Day with small but perfectly formed donuts. You see, everyone loves donuts. So when I was mooching in Birminghams posh new market for Christmas pressies and I came across this Walford Donut Maker for a tenner I thought I'd grab it. The rrp for these things are usually around the twenty five quid mark so I figured even if it was only used now and again I'd got a bargain. The instruction leaflet that came with it (well, a photocopy of the ...  Read the complete review

Another house warming gift was the walfod donut maker from my aunty. When i was 12 i used to work at our local market on a saturday and could not resist the donut kart, fresh made donuts yum my mouth is watering as i type my review. My aunty chrissy bought this for me and the girls. The machine cost £19.99 from a stall in the middle of livingstone shopping centre and have seen them on amazon too. The instructions are easy to follow. The donut machine is easy to use by plugging it in letting it heat up first. The cable is long and measures 15 inches to the plug. The outside of the machine is silver in colour with black ...  Read the complete review

I received this as a present for my birthday and initially was very excitied about it as making my own donuts seemed like a genuis idea. When you get it out of the box it looks like a sandwich maker, it is quite heavy and when you lift the lid up you have to be careful it doesnt fall backwards. It comes with a booklet on how to make the mixture for the donuts adn ideas for decorating them. The ingredients are usual things you have in your house so I was able to make them straight away. The donut maker heats up very quickly and also cooks the mixture very quickly meaning the whole process only takes approx 5 minutes before you have your first batch of donuts. The speed ..  Read the complete review
