I get through washing machines like my kids get through sweets. They seem to wear out - the machines not the sweets - must be the heavy use they get. When my last one gave up on me just before christmas last year I bought the only one I could find with delivery before the big day (it arrived on christmas day). It has turned out to be the best machine I have owned. This machine is a Zanussi, model FX 1365 which is made by Electrolux. It has various programmes you can choose: Prewash - this will wash your load at 30 degrees before the main wash. Quick wash - for slightly dirty loads. Washing time is reduced. Easy ... My ZCE8020AX (the Smile Cooker!) was delivered direct from Zanussi. When I unpacked it I found a VERY large dent all the way down one side. Other than that the cooker was fine. I contacted Zanussi customer services about the dent and they said they could offer me £30 compensation for the dent(should have been more like £130), or they could send an engineer, I chose the engineer but complained that it meant taking time off work. The CS assistant said this was not a problem because they did evening and weekend appointments. Out of all of our kitchen appliances, the cooker is by far the most expensive item, but when I think how much use it gets, I was adamant that i wanted a good one. I had heard that ceramic hobs were really good - the electric equivalent of gas apparantely (?), so splurged on a Zanussi model that luckily was ex-display so had £200 knocked off the price. Well, I just had to really, didn't I???? - convinced Hubby, anyway! Technical specs. as follows:- 4 ceramic rings, 2 small, ! large and 1 that can either be used as large or small - pretty nifty.
