Apple iPhone 3GS 32 GB

The iPhone 3GS was my first Apple phone but not my first Apple product, before this I had the lovely iPod Touch which I used for my music and the applications. After this went missing I decided to try the iPhone seem as everyone claimed it was basically an iPod Touch with calling and messaging capabilities.
What I had heard ... wasn't a lie and I had no need to go out and purchase an iPod Touch anymore as the 3GS did everything I wanted it to do and more. The phone is heavier than your typical phone but the sleek design makes it easy to handle. The touch screen is fully responsive and never once had the problem that you sometimes find with some touch devices when you are having to press several times to actually press where you want to.
Now down to the features, the phones speakers are actually louder that expected which meant using this as a music player was great, especially the headphones that come with them. Just don't lose the headphones as they aren't cheap to re-purchase (Same goes for the iPhone original charger). The calling, messaging and internet access is as expected and works with no flaws and no downfalls from my view. The picture quality however of the camera is something that I wasn't fully satisified with and the lack of a flash meant taking pictures in the dark was a big no. Only other downfall to this is the battery life, if I played one game on the phone through the day it would mean for certain that I would be charging it up at night.
Overall though the downfall of the picture quality and camera is really nothing when you think of all the benefits and features of the phone itself. Who wouldn't want a phone that has internet, games, apps, notes, music, email, messaging, calls etc.

Apple iPhone 4S 16 GB

Before the iPhone 4S I was an owner of the iPhone 3GS and at first had doubts in if it was worth the upgrade. I don't think I'll ever look back as this phone for me is one I could have for more than just two years. The normal phone features you would expect such as camera, phone calls, messaging and internet access is top of the range ... and never once had any problems with it. Typing a message is easy and simple and I love the extra features of being able to do a video call if you know someone else with an iPhone.
Moving on the extras to other phones such as the built in GPS which when combined with the map pre-built in and the latest Apple updates it makes for a very reliable and free to use sat-nav. I use it on a weekly basis and so far haven't got lost once. Then comes the app store, as with any apple product the range of apps available is amazing. You can have games on the go, sort out your finances, keep a diary, edit photos and there is no need to spend a fortune on apps as the range of free apps available on the Apple store now is unbeliavable. There is honestly an app for anything you can think of, saving all the times of boredom when on the go.
Now not everything is amazing, the downfall for me has to be the battery life. Unless you just use the phone for calling and messaging you will find yourself charging the phone every night which can be annoying but once you get in the routine of plugging it in before you head to bed it's not much of a problem.

Samsung Galaxy Ace GT-S5830

I got this phone for a christmas gift from my husband and after having phones that wernt all touch screen and i hadnt used the android app or google play before i was a bit scared!
But this phone is so easy to use and all my worries went away. i honestly thought it was going to be really complicated nd difficult to use but i was ... wrong.
The screen is a really decent size and the letter/number panel to type in is a good size too making it easy to type without too many mistakes!
All its apps it already has are great; navigation, google play, you tube, mail, internet, social hub etc
You can download games and other apps really easy and quickly too.
The internet connection when put with wi-fi is really really fast.
You need a memory card though as the internal memory doesnt hold alot and really you want a bigger memory card than 2gb if you want to download alot.
The camera is nice and clear and takes really good pictures and the camcorder the same.
Whats good as well you can find lots of different cases for the phone!
The price for this phone is really great value for money too!!
