When my old phone packed up I decided to join the iphone craze that everyone seems to have given in to. I got the iphone 3 8GB. It looks very sleek although fragile and the first thing I done was to purchase a protective case and screen film to stop scratches and breakages. I have had an iphone since April this year, and I have to say it is definately the best phone I've ever had. The iphone isn't targeted for a certain audience, depending which apps you download it is suitable for businesses, teens, students, etc etc. You download the apps which are suitable for you, and of course, nobody can resist games. There are many free game apps, but some games you can pay anything from 59p. The sliding from each screen is smooth, and with constant updates from apple more features become avaliable. I bought the iPhone 3G as I wanted a cheap (ish) way to see what the iPhone buzz was all about, and I must say I wasn't terribly impressed. I apologize if this review isn't in any logical order, it's just how I think of things! At £300, it was definitely the most pricey phone i'd ever bought, and I don't think it was the best by a long shot. I had never owned an iPod touch, so was completely new to the world of 'apps', and I must admit I did find the app store to be fantastic. I bought my iPhone 3G around 6 months ago from Orange at a cost of £340 (+£10 top-up) on 'Pay As You Go'. The initial £340 cost seems expensive but I decided would work out better than a contract as I would only be spending £5 per month to get unlimited texts through 'Orange Extras'. ~~~ Set-up ~~~ The phone was unboxed for the first time in store (which was a little disappointing as it takes away from the excitement of rushing home with it), so that it could be activated.
