The first Iphone I've had, and still got is the Iphone 3g 8gb. So far I have had it for a year, and find the phone amazing still! Every single day new apps are becoming available to use on it (look over for iphone apps) and they really do stop boredom, especially when stuck on a bus or a train!!) Space for the apps - well there's plenty for them, however, it does slow the phone down.
I notice that when I now turn my phone on, and have 5 pages of apps, it is rather slow, and takes its time to get ready! Abut 1-2 minutes.
The same applies when opening my inbox, because it can take around 30 seconds to open a text message, yet I know other people have 3gs/4 and it appears to do it instantly.
The camera quality is great, the sound is also fantastic.

The charge.. not so good! I do charge my phone up every day, but then I do use it every day. On average I send 30 texts, possibly speak up to 15/20 minutes and play on apps for 1/2 hours, and then social network sites and the internet I'm checking for 10 minutes an hour! So no surprises I charge it every day..

Very sturdy, there are a few scratches on the back of it, and yes I have dropped it a few times, but it appears to be very strong and the front has no scratches at all.

The predictive text language that the Iphone features is something I find very handy, and also the use of 'conversations' during a text.. and the scroll feature of them is also great. To read over texts from 6 months ago is absolutely possible, unless you delete them yourself! So I find this a brilliant feature.

As a conclusion of the phone, I would completely recommend this phone if you want to play games, puzzles, write notes, listen to music, take photos, go on social networking sites, check cinema times, order food shopping etc.. as well as send texts and make and receive phone calls.

If you are looking for a fast version though I would recommend going for the 3gs or the 4, but if money is tight, I definitely would advise you to go with this!
