Let me start by saying that I am writing this review with a perspective from 2012, for someone looking at buying it now. I got this phone back in 2009. At the time, it was great! It was fast, clever, did everything I would expect it to do. All the apps worked great, I couldn't fault it. 3 years later, and we see a very different phone. With the last support update for it being released over a year ago, the phone has slowed down, and app support has reduced. The phone still works for general tasks, calling, texting, email, and quite a few apps still work very well. I upgraded the phone a while back, and offered the phone to a family member. While the phone might be 'old tech', my Mum still maintains that she prefers the old iPhone to a Sony Ericson android phone that she was given for free, because of its simple ease-of-use. In fact, most of my relatives and friends use iPhones because of their easiness, not necessarily using it to its full potential.
