After the purchase of my Macbook pro, and my conversion to everything Mac I had an iphone in mind when getting a new phone. I was deciding between the iPhone and the Samsung Galaxy, i picked the iphone because I could use it easily with my Mac and I really liked the look of it. Once I first got it, as one does, I spent the rest of the day playing on it and trying all the features. It has absolutely everything. The app store which has just about every app you can imagine easily laid out in categories for ease of use: books, business, catalogues, education, entertainment, food and drink, health and fitness, medical, music, navigation, news, newsstand, photo and video, productivity, reference, social networking, sports, travel, utilities, weather, lifestyle, finance and games. You have to create an itunes account to use the app store, this includes entering bank details which is useful to know beforehand. The camera is great quality while on HD, you can really get some awesome shots that look like they were taken on a professional camera. However i've found that it's more of a lucky shot kind of thing. The email is a great feature, very easy to use and easy to set up. The ipod is just like a normal ipod touch, it has the direct itunes app and the sound and picture quality is very good. As for the phone, the sound quality is great and the facetime feature is really clever. It uses wifi so is pretty much the same as skype but higher quality on your phone. To use facetime it has to be with someone else using another iphone, ipad, or mac. I have had a few problems with this phone but nothing as serious as all of the previous phones i've owned (I had an HTC's screen freeze and have to be sent off after only a couple of months). Sometimes when using games it will freeze, but its always fixed after turning the phone off.
I highly recommend the iphone 4, every phone has faults but I believe this is the best one out there right now.
