I was one of the crazy people who queued for the iPhone 4 the day it was release. I queued for about 3 hours and it was definitely worth the wait. When i first used this phone, I saw the difference in speed immediately when compared to my old iPhone 3g. Thie iPhone 4 was just so much more faster and responsive and just all round quick! The screen was also truly amazing as I have never seen anything so clear and precise. Needless to say I was blown away.

Now, 1 year after owning and using the iPhone 4, I am still as happy as ever. It still runs like clockwork and is still as quick and responsive as the first day I got it. I have also upgraded to iOS 5 and did not experience the massive slow down that the iPhone 3g suffered from when upgrading from iOS 3 to iOS 4.

The only thing i have noticed which is different is the battery life. I do notice that it does seem to have shortened slightly. Usually i end up with %50 at the end of a day but now I get %45 at the end of each day. So it could just be battery wear and tear or iOS 5 seems to drain the battery a bit more that before. Either way, it lasts me a full day of use and I am fine with that.

Overall, i am an extremely happy user of the iPhone 4 and would definitely recommend it to anyone who want to get an iPhone. But its better to get the latest model which is the iPhone 4s.
