Apple iPhone 4 32 GB
Advantages: Responsive Touch Screen, Great Graphics, Amazing Camera and Sound
Disadvantages: Battery Life Is Poor, Quite Expensive, App Store Sometimes Crashes
I have had my iPhone 4 since February 2011. I used to have an iPhone 3GS, but I had to get that replaced 3 times in 4 months due to it breaking all the time. I have to say, I am very surprised how well my iPhone 4 works, and in 10 months, I haven't had any problems with it at all. The quality of the phone is just astounding. The graphics are amazing and it has a very modern design and is made of strengthened glass and metal. It is quite heavy though, and you do have to take care of it because it does damage and scratch very easily. Saying that though, I did drop mine from about 3 feet onto a concrete floor, and it hardly damaged it at all!
It is very easy to use and there are a wide range of apps available at the app store. The software design is very nice and simple. When texting, you can hold the phone portrait or landscape. I usually text with it portrait, and the keyboard is a full keyboard like on a PC. Because of this, the keys are quite small, and you have to have reasonably small fingers to operate it. However, it doesn't take long to get used to.
If you have long nails, the screen will not work. It only responds to finger tips, but they have recently released a stylus which works with the iPhone screen. I love the feel of the screen and it is extremely responsive.
It has a 5MP camera with flash which is absolutely amazing. The sound quality is excellent and the quality of calls is great. It has built in Wi-Fi and it is extremely quick. Youtube on this phone is not particularly quick and it is hard to find the video you want. The app store is also a bit of a problem as it sometimes crashes due to updating to iOS 5.
When the iPhone 4 was new, it was very expensive. Due to the iPhone 4S' release, the price has gone down a bit. It is worth the money you pay for it now, but it was definitely overly priced when it was over £500.
I would recommend this phone to anyone who wants a decent, reliable smartphone. Once you overlook the price, it is great!
