The iphone 4s was my first "expensive phone", before, the iphone I had been using was what can only be described as an electronic paperweight. However I had owned an ipod touch previously which I was quite fond off, until it met the washing machine. So I was quite excited to see what the 4s could do... and it hasn't disappointed.

Having your music and your phone on one machine is a major plus, and because its an ipod you know how easy it is to manage your playlist. With my old touch I had the ability to browse the web but rarely did as it was slow and difficult. However the 4s powered by the new A5 chip is significantly faster, so much so I often browse the web while connected to wifi or 3g. You'll never get bored with the 4s as there thousands of applications to sift through including 'skype' and 'cut the rope' to name couple of my favourites. Another feature of the 4s which has really impressed me is the 8 mega pixel camera. This offers clear pictures at the swipe of a finger, with the ability to upload your pics to facebook, twitter and with icloud to your home computer. Another addition to the iphone is Siri, responsible for the s in 4s and regardless of Siri's usefulness and technical brilliance its just fun to play with. On top of all this I have found the 4s to have a reasonable battery life and there are many devices with a USB port or docking station capable of charging your 4s.

I would defiantly recommend the iphone 4s to anyone looking for smartphone even without having studied the competition too much. I have had mine for about 6 months now and it still amazes me in new ways from time to time. To finish the iphone 4s is quite simply the best and most stunning piece of technology I have ever owned.
