I have had my iphone for about 6 months now, and I admit I has switched from a Blackberry. I was dubious at first- especially worried about how my fingers would cope typing on non protruding keys (which I prefer), it took me a while to get used to the keyboard but now I have I am just as fast and accurate as I would be with another keyboard.

With regard to students this phone is your ultimate tool! Here are some of the reasons why:
- Quick messaging - texting, emailing, sending imessages (free to other Iphone users via internet)
- Download lots of apps including: Skype, facebook, games (Angry birds!)
- Diary function which can act as a student planner
- Notes section ( essential for your shopping list)
- Great cameras ( good for nights out and quick pictures - video quality is good as well!
- A big plus for me is that I can access my University documents ( an app my Uni subscribes too) so if I forget notes for a lecture I can just load them on my phone.
-Music ( goes quite loud! Good quality as well!) Only drawback is I prefer tangible buttons as when the screen goes to sleep I find it fiddly as opposed to just pressing a button on the ipod.
