Apple iPhone 5
Advantages: great features
Disadvantages: the price
I have recently taken out a contract and pick the Iphone 5, and i am generally very happy with the phone, after coming from a blackberry, but it is far too expensive.
The phone itself has a nice look, its very sleek and thin, but i think it needs to be made of a more durable material. I am generally very careful with my things but i can see a few chips along the side of the phone which really gets on my nerves. I have not dropped my phone enough to comment on how durable the screen is.
The quality of the display is very good, its clear and crisp and is great for watching videos and movies as well as playing games. The app store and itunes offers a large range of movies, music and apps to customise your phone with. Some apps take up more memory than others, but i have quite a selection on my phone and i am still doing ok memory wise.
I love the facetime options on the phone as it allows me to video call friends and family whenever and wherever as long as i am able to connect to an internet connection, for free. Its perfect for when i am away and need to contact family and friends back home without being hit with a huge bill at the end of it.
The battery is pretty good, especially when i have just upgraded from a Blackberry. It lasts roughly a day if i am using it a lot on the internet and social networking etc, but if i am not using it too much it can last a day and a half or two days. The camera quality is pretty good and can take some nice picture, you can also download photo editing apps to get even more out of the camera both on the front and back.
The touch scree responds very quickly and have had no problems with it freezing unlike my blackberry. The screen is sensitive but not to the point where it unlocks in your pocket or bag. The sound quality is pretty good, but i think it really depends on the headphones you use as to how good the sound is.
Overall i do really love the phone but it is very expensive, and i do not think the price has to be that high, i would recommend the phone but i would like to see it at a lower price
Summary: i would recommend
