After recently getting the Blackberry Bold I thought I'd share my thoughts about it. The commencement of a new job saw me presented with a brick like XDA device which truth be told was useless. E-mails had to be typed using a stylus which frankly took hours to write and every time the battery died it had to be sent back to IT while they rebuilt it from scratch after it managed to wipe every last trace of my documents and e-mails. I have had my BlackBerry 9000 since January when I changed jobs. I was already a BlackBerry addict as I have one for personal use - but this was the first time I have had one for work. It is my main method of communication as I work across the country and it is easier than firing up the archaic laptop they gave me. When upgrading my phone I considered the iPhone and the N97 from Nokia. I eventually chose this phone without prior knowledge of Blackberries and how they work. What I found was a phone that works perfectly for me. If you enjoy using your technology and finding new and interesting functions and features whilst going around your daily routine then this is the phone for you. The Bold is your computer on the move.
