I've had to bold for 14 months i have to say i am a very clumsy user and have dropped it many times. i have gone cycling with it in the rain, climbed up norwegian mountains with it even gardened with it. The bold has lasted exceptionally well! there are lots of chunks and scratches taken out of it but the phone works perfectly. The operating system when i got the phone was outdated compared to the iphone and android operating systems. However it has now been upgraded and it feels like a new phone. Actions are a lot slicker with the phone with new menu sorting option such as favorites, media, downloads and frequent makes very quick to access apps! Blackberry have also added a universal search to the interface which is a revelation! you can search contacts, google, youtube, your music, apps, google maps and messages all from the home screen. This is a great feature and has really improved the phone and has made it much easier to navigate. Along with these features the general look of the interface has been improved and little details such as having a tray to access apps instead of a menu as really improved the usability of the blackberry. Blackberry have always been critisized for its browser and the upgrade has made it slightly faster unfortunatly it is still a little slow and some content does not load. One of the features i have used the most is the media player for my music. the blackberry has 2gb micro sd installed this is great as you can transfer a good 200 songs very simply on to your phone if you want more this can be upgraded up to 32 gb. the 3.5 mm headphone jack is also really useful as you can plug any type of headphones into it.
