Advantages: Low price, looks the part

Disadvantages: Buggy and slow

This phone is literally everywhere. So many people have it, there must be a reason. At a glance the phone is shiny, sleek, and smart. and at times I think 'Wow, this phone is great, I'm glad I got it' and other times, I want to throw it out of a window.

Good points:

If a smartphone with high capability and the ability to impress is what you want, then this would be a good choice. Its relatively cheap (I've seen decent contracts for £10-£15 a month and PAYG for £139) and there's lots of great deals out there to compare from. Personally, I love using a qwerty keypad. I'm a fast typer and not a fan of predictive text (infuriating invention) so this seemed like a good choice. also once I updated to OS 5, I found the SMS function was rather pleasant to use as it now has a conversation style system. Also it has the best charging time of any phone i've ever had, about an hour for a full charge which will last for several days providing you have bluetooth off, and are not constantly making calls etc.

Bad points:

Oh, how many there are. This phone, put simply, is incredibly unreliable. It freezes ever such a lot and is prone to awful 'memory leaks' where it is constantly loading and taking an age to do the simplest thing. A big problem I have found, and many others have, is that after a while the phone will heat up very quickly and lose all its battery in about 10 minutes. I know it isnt the fault of the battery as I have changed battery 3 times now. And when you restart it, it takes an average of 5-6 minutes to reload. The camera has a very poor quality, a mere 2.0MP. Fine for the odd photo but if you like high quality, its not for you. The internet function can be very slow, and more than a couple of downloaded apps slow the phone considerably.

All in all a fairly good phone for the price, but I think i'm running back to Samsung pretty soon.

Summary: Mixed feelings, wouldnt go mad for it
