Advantages: Beautiful design, Great image quality, packed full of features

Disadvantages: Lack of 3G

Although I've only had this phone for less than a week I feel strongly inclined to write something about it!

looks
If I had to choose one word to describe this phone it would be proffesional. I can really see why the Blackberry is generally seen as a busninessman's phone, I could see this sliding out of a sharp armani suit pocket and not looking out of place.
The phone features a beautifully clear screen which rests just above the full QWERTY keyboard and trackball. Around the outside of the phone is a 'chrome' bezel leading back to the rear of the phone where the battery cover lives, which looks like brushed steel (but is actually plastic). Also on the back is the camera and flash.

Features
The curve is designed to keep the user connected, the device recieves texts, calls, emails and instant messages - be this through my mobile carrier or Wi-Fi. Through the GPRS radio my Blackberry recieves emails as soon as my gmail account recieves one, and of course it can be set up to pick up emails from most other email accounts too.
The phone has the ability to connect to the internet and serve as a GPS device when connected to a maps application and take advantage of the blackberry app world where the user can download a huge variety of applications for the device.

Performance/Battery
So far I've found this phone has been a pleasure to use. the interface is simple yet there is a HUGE variety of ways that I can customise the curve, there seems to be an option for everything! This ranges all the way from how the phone acts when I plug in the power cable to how the phone should act when it's in a holster or out on my desk.

A down point of the cuve would be the lack of 3G, which would speed the internet sevice up. When compaired to a similar device like the iPhone it's not very quick, however, it can certainly do the job if you're willing to wait for a little longer!

The battery has varied in performance so far, it's ranged from lasting all night without a single percentage drop to dropping 10% another night. Performance during the day seems to alter too, and I'm thinking it's because of my house - it's always been notorious for bad phone signal and the curve apparantly expends a lot of power when roaming for the network.

Summary.
The phone is awesome, it's a pleasure to use. Unfortunately I can't give a proper review of the battery, but when I've given this phone a proper run-through I'll update this!

Summary: A brilliant phone and organiser!

I've just gone 3g with a G1 and woud never go back!

it's like broadband versus dial-up.
