The only people I knew who owned Blackberry phones before I bought mine were working professionals and school students. I was sceptical about whether I really needed to use it for emails, messaging, apps etc and if I would even understand how to do it. The reason I chose it was because it had a touch screen keyboard and keyboard buttons. Being quite lazy, I like the option of switching between both functions, keys for emails and touch screen for texts. It had tutorials in its OS that explained setting up emails and social networking so that was nice an easy too. Honestly I now hardly ever use my laptop as I can access everything I need from my blackberry, and although I dont need it for work, and am not a school student, I have been able to manipulate this phone to suit my needs. I would definitely recommend the torch over an iphone, my only complaint is that it can be annoying having to password unlock it all the time to make calls.
