The Blackberry Torch is a great looking phone with the added advancement for all the die hard blackberry fans of the new fully touch screen. However the touch screen is not as good as they would have you believe. Ok it is sensitive and works well enough but the actual practicality is not good enough. The touch keyboard is not very usable. If you have hands bigger than an ellf than your fingers will mean that you cant really type without your sentences sounding like 'goboldigook'. The graphics are very good however. This means that you can stream video and watch it in crystal clear vision. There are some good features like the fact that you can write a message on the locked screen with an alternative number for somebody to call if the phone is lost, which are a nice touch. The interface on the phone and the menu lay outs and the catogorisation of the options on the drop down menues are brilliant as always with blackberry. The camera is 5mp and this is the only major drawback as the shots are not as good as those taken with other camera phones, and is a shame. I have had some sojftware problems on the handset and it has slowed down to process displaying the ticking 'thinking' sign which can be annoying, but for whatever reason seems to resolve itself. The silver casing does seem to chip off far too easily and this really destroys the visual appeal of the phone and it does tend to look rather old before its time. The battery life is nbot its greatest feature either as it has frequently run down on juice when I have been out and about during the day after being on charge all night, although this is largely due to the internet access draining the battery too quickly.
