Right. When I first was looking to upgrade from my fairly smart phone to a smart phone I was suckered into it as a girl I liked had a Blackberry and I wanted any excuse to buy a Blackberry. Unfortunately I Whatsapp hadn't been invented or I hadn't heard of it yet! Now sadly the girl has moved on and we no longer chat as much as we used to which is a shame because now I am stuck with a fairly awful smart phone. First up, the internet is slow and not easy to use. It has difficulties zooming in and I'm forever ending up on the wrong web page due to the rubbish touchscreen. If surfing the web wasn't hard enough then try typing with the touchscreen keyboard. It's nigh on impossible. Maybe its because my thumbs are too wide or that I am not a fan of touchscreens anway (you cannot gauge any sort of muscle memory from them making it very difficult to get used to). Either way it is distressing. This must be why they included a handy little keypad on a slider underneath. Now we're talking! I dont know why they dont do this on all smart phones then the technophiles like myself can still manage to get through life relatively stress free. Apps - smart phones are all about apps these days and Blackberry just doesn't have any. Or at least doesn't have very many of the ones you are actually going to want. My biggest peeve (as a film addict) is that they do not have the IMDB app which means I have to go on the rubbish internet and try and navigate my way through dodgy links with an unusable touchscreen just to see who the director of some useless film was. This results in much exhaustion. And to top it all off work have just given me a Torch too!!! I cannot get away from them. Do yourself a favour and get something that isnt a blackberrry.
