I didn't think too highly of this phone when it was my main phone, but funnily enough, although also a HTC, I am tempted to go back to using it instead of my current phone, which I recently reviewed. Appearance/Aesthetics Compared to my current phone, this one is lighter, a little smaller in length and width, thicker and has a smaller screen space. I prefer that this phone is a little lighter, even if this implies a lower quality. Though more chunky, I still think it looks nicer and I do prefer its surface materials. When my contract was due an upgrade last year, I spent ages looking around for the best touchscreen phone. I had never had a touchscreen phone before, so had spend a considerable amount of time, to find the best phone I could get at the time. I have been using this phone now for over a year now and i thought i would write a few things about it. Firstly this is a windows mobile phone, it is no iphone and may not be as fluid and as fast however HTC have done an amazing job with their TouchFLO which basically puts a whole new skin (look) to the phone by masking the Windows Mobile interface. This means that all the options and settings you need are easy to find and access. I LOVE THIS PHONE!! The HTC Touch HD is a Windows based smartphone with a gorgeous sleek 3.8" LCD Flat touch sensitive screen (800x480) pixels, with HTC's user interface, Touch FLO 3D, giving you an amazing viewing display, (very crisp and clear), even slightly larger than the raved about iPhone. Easily the best looking HTC phone to date with its glorious 3.8 inch screen. I have been using this since its release and it has proved to be reliable and generally a pleasure to use. Build Quality: The phone was well packaged and on opening the device seemed to be sturdy and well built. The charger however was adaptive meaning it wasnt purpose built for the UK market, instead opting to have a standard charger with changeable connections depending on the country you are located in.
