Advantages: Very customisable, powerful, brilliant high res screen

Disadvantages: Needs a lot of tweaking to get it running at its best

The Touch HD is a great phone, but to get the best out of it you need to be a little bit techie - happy to spend some time tweaking settings and customizing the device with apps to get it running the way you want it.

If fiddling with your device for hours isn't your cup of tea, something like the iPhone is probably better for you, as it is a lot simpler to use and doesn't need any major tweaking to get it set up.

The Touch HD has a massive 3.8" high res screen which blows away almost every other phone on the market.

Unlike with the iPhone, you can change the battery in the Touch HD, and this means you can carry a spare - very handy for long trips, especially if you are using the Touch HD as a GPS, media player, camera, calendar and phone!

The camera lacks a flash, but is ok in good light conditions. Once the phone has been tweaked to perfection, it is very hard to beat!

Summary: A great phone for a gadget geek
