Advantages: Brilliant camera, very easy to use and looks smart.
Disadvantages: Small memory, but that's fixable.
I purchased the HTC Wildfire S after my iPhone sadly drowned in the sink, and I couldn't afford to splash out on a new one.
I'd been using the iPhone for 18 months so was expecting to be a little disappointed by the cheaper, not so cool smartphone but I was wrong.
It took a week or so to get used to the layout, but since then, I love it.
I does everything the iphone does, and is smaller and it has a really easy, user friendly layout. Battery life is fabulous, and there are hundreds of android apps available for it.
The camera on it is excellent, producing lovely clear bright photos. It's so easy to set up with your existing email account, facebook, music, in fact it's everything you need in a phone, and it looks good too.
My only downside is the memory gets full quite quickly, but that's easily fixable by popping in a bigger memory card than the 2gb supplied with it.
Summary: An excellent all round smart phone - you couldn't ask for anything else.
