HTC Wildfire S
Advantages: easy to use, good camera
Disadvantages: google maps can be slow to load
I have had this phone for over a year now and I'm pleased I picked it. It's smaller than some of the other phones out there so fits better in your pocket but the screen is still big enough for easy texting / browsing.
It's an android so you have all the technology advantages of internet browsing, a good camera, various apps and games to download etc without having to jump on the overpriced iphone bandwagon.
Maybe it would have been useful if some kind of instruction booklet was included as I accidentally phoned a few people the first week I had it but that's probably because it was the first touch-screen phone I had used. The menus and sub menus all make sense and are straight forward to use.
I usually have to charge it ever other day and making long phone calls or playing games for ages depletes the battery quicker but that's pretty much to be expected.
It also comes in different colours which is a nice touch and I have a metallic purple one. It think it's a good price but if you get a good deal as part of a contract you can get them to throw in the phone for free anyway.
Summary: A good value for money android
