i got an iphone 3gs through an 18 month contract with o2 in november 2011. its the first time ive had an iphone, as previously i never bought into all the hype surrounding apple goods! however on using the iphone 3gs, i soon understood why people rave about them. maybe its the choice of apps available or the ease of downloading them, but personally i found the iphone and its in built features which impressed me the most. the camera, for instance may not have the most pixels available to it, but i still found its ease of use and picture quality second to none. with itunes available to me for the first time i qiuckly had my phone filled to capacity with music and apps, such was the choice available to me. which brings me to the 8gb capacity, which i quickly used up in no time frustratingly! personally i would have preferred it if the phone had 16gb available to it. but my number one bugbear with this phone is its pathetic battery life. my phone came with a brand new battery and i found myself having to charge the phone on a daily basis very quickly, even if i did not use it that often. ive since changed the battery to one with double capacity, bought on ebay. however, this made minimal difference and has rendered the warranty disqualified. also, although i managed to successfully change my battery, its not something i would recommend others to undertake, as the process is a lot trickier than changing the battery in any other phone. so to summarise, a great product with lots of handy features, marred only by a poor battery.
