Advantages: Easy to use, great Sat Nav system, good speakers, user friendly
Disadvantages: None
I purchased the Nokia 6110 on contract after deciding my old phone was absolutely past it, it couldn't even hold its charge for more than a couple of hours, so I thought I'd better update my contract and get myself a new shiney phone.
The Nokia 6110 Navigator is incredibly easy to use, I managed to figure everything out within the space of about 10 minutes, without using the guide book - thanks to the help of some built in tutorials which come with the phone, these tutorials show you how to use the key functions of the phone and explain everything really well.
The phone itself is very sturdy, which is always a good attribute to have in a mobile phone, the slider is very slick and doesn't get stuck (something which has been a problem in previous mobiles I've had). The camera quality is also very clear and can take very good photographs, the phone also takes good videos with clear sound.
The speakers are very good indeed, I like to play music on my phone when I'm in the garden and it's actually very loud and clear, the speakers aren't tinny in the least.
The built in, completely free to use, Sat Nav system is awesome. It can eat up the phones charge though, so it's a good idea to have an in-car charger if you're planning on using the Sat Nav function on a long journey. I've tested it out numerous times and it always sends me in the right direction.
I'd highly recommend this phone to anyone who's thinking of buying it, it hasn't let me down yet and I continue to find new uses for it - such as using the Sat Nav in pedestrian mode - something that has rescued me from being lost many times now!.
Summary: My best friend in pocket sized form

- 16/06/08 Very nice start here. I'm just missing more information on how this works as a phone. |
