Advantages: Good size keyboard, fax programme, good battery
Disadvantages: No GPRS, No bluetooth
I have had three Nokia communicators and I have to say I find them much easier to use than other pda's. The 9210i has a fax programme as well, and I know everyone says that fax is dead, but in my line of business people still use faxes quite a bit. Certainly it helps to have the fax, also the ability to receive faxes it very useful, as I divdert my office fax to my 9210i when I am away and hey presto I'm know what's going on. This is very important as I work for myself and I do travel quite a bit. The QWERTY keyboard is just the right size as well, and you get msoft word & excel, although to be fair I have never used the excel programme as the screen is to small for a complicated spread sheet. It is useful when on a place as you switch the phone half off and use the other half for composing e-mails, faxes, sms's etc, and when you get off the plane switch the phone on, select your network and tell it to send all the messages in the outbook. However, in some far flung places it can be difficult to get data transfer. I use vodafone and sometimes have great trouble retreiving e-mails to the 9210i even when I am Europe. The battery lasts ages as well.
